"An International is like no other Jitsu event."
An exciting opportunity to train with instructors and students from around the Jitsu world including countries like Australia, Brazil, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa and the USA.
The International starts off with two full days of small seminars and workshops run by top international instructors and you choose which seminars you want to attend
The 2013 International will be held over four days in July here in the UK and will be hosted in Edinburgh, capital city of Scotland.
3-4 July Workshops & Seminar
For two whole days senior instructors will take small groups of Jitsuka through specialised & rarely taught topics.
5 July Edinburgh
Normally when we travel to a Jitsu event we see the inside of a sports centre and then go home.
So day three will be your chance to relax, recharge the batteries and explore Scotland’s capital city.
Edinburgh has many attractions to entice the visitor with history and culture. Tour Edinburgh Castle, shop on the Royal Mile & visit the Palace of Holyrood House.
For the brave there are famous ghost walks through the historic streets, once roamed by the infamous Burke and Hare.
Visit the hidden city catacombs or the Edinburgh Dungeon. Child friendly tours are also available at both these attractions.
The ‘World of Illusions’ has optical illusions and plenty of ‘hands on’ activities for the younger visitors.
You could try the “Scottish Whisky Experience” a chance to explore and understand the history, how it’s made and the difference between Scotch, Irish Whiskey & Bourbon.

Jitsu International
You may not realise that the Jitsu you are taught in your club is taught in many other parts of the world. There are many associations set up by instructors who learnt Jitsu here in the UK. The most recent addition to the family was set up in 2012 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The first official “International” or gathering of students and Instructors from these various branches was held in Canada in 2003.
Internationals have been held in Amsterdam, Holland in 2006 and Spartanburg, USA in 2009.
